Seguramente no caerá muy bien entre los fans de Nirvana, pero… ¿no les parece uno de los mejores video-mashups de la historia? El responsable es el alemán DJ Margoth y aquí tienen el video (vía Alt 1040):

El artista del mashup dj BC ha lanzado su propia mezcla del clásico de David Bowie, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. El trabajo se llama Ziggy Stardust Remixed y en él se mezclan clásicos de la época como The Supremes, Bob Marley y The Beatles con hits de MGMT y Jay-Z, entre muchos otros.

El artista gráfico británico conocido como Banksy realizó una remezcla gráfica del álbum de Paris Hilton en el que la “cantante” aparece semidesnuda en la tapa y en el artwork interno, junto con distintas frases, como “Every CD you buy puts me even further out of your league“. Luego filtró 500 copias del disco (que incluye un CD con un remix del tema de The Simple Life) en 42 disquerías de Inglaterra y documentó todo el proceso en un video, que pueden ver abajo. Al poco tiempo los CDs empezaron a aparecer en subastas de eBay, y ya cotizan a más de 800 dólares (vía Hipersónica vía ProcessBlack vía Domestika)

Y ya que hablamos del aniversario de Revolver, he aquí un mashup lanzado en febrero del año pasado por CCC (su blog es una visita obligada, hace mashups de lo que se les ocurra). Al poco tiempo subirlo a la web, su autor recibió una carta documento de la British Phonographic Industry, y el disco tuvo que ser removido.
